Batik paper is made by painting melted candle wax on plain mulberry or
any other thick paper to make patterns, lines and shapes. This paper is
then colored by hands with desired colors. The colorful batik designs

without using any toxic chemicals acids or chlorine in the manufacturing
process.
Batik papers are generally imported from Thailand and India.
