Making Paper with Brush Stroke Pattern
- Create a type or design you want to stroke with a brush. Take a
mixing plate filled with your desired color.
- Dip the brush in the color.
- Wipe out the brush and use the side of the brush to print the
desired shape.
- Allow the strokes to dry.
Types of Brushes Used for Making Brush Stroke Patterns
- Round brush is used to give a rounded top to the stroke. Tear
drop, comma stroke, S stroke can be all given with a rounded brush.
- Flat brush is used for base coating. Chisel stroke, flat stroke,
circle, C stroke can be all given with a flat brush.
- Rigger brush or liner brush is used to give a very thin stroke,
generally used for outlining.
