Rich
texture and appealing colors are combined to create the

papers. Handmade paper pulp is crinkled before drying almost like an
accordion pleat, to make this unusual paper. This creates a stunning and
an amazing visual textured surface. These are 100% kozo paper from
Thailand crinkled with gold highlights. A brown or a black glaze can be
applied to highlight the texture.
Crinkle papers can also be made of abaca; the sheets are continously
folded and flattened to produce an extremely strong crinkle paper. The
crinkling effect and the elegant touch of the paper makes it a
delight to touch. This handmade paper combines well with other textured
papers for various effects. Crinkle papers are available in a variety of
colors and thickness.
These are translucent papers, compatible with most laser and ink-jet
printers. Heavier weight crinkle paper is great for making cards, as
album pages, and even for matting artwork. These handmade crinkle papers
are also good for lampshades, book arts & decorative.
